Barcelona Day 89.

Thursday December 12th, the last day!

This must be a joke right, how can it possibly be the last day of my program! Everything has been truly amazing. I don’t even know where to begin because there is no way I can summarize the past four months. Having the opportunity to travel the world has been so surreal. A part of me believes that it was all a dream and that there was no way I was actually at the Eiffel Tower or swimming in the Mediterranean Ocean. But in the end it was all real, and I was able to live the life I’ve always imagined of. Even though my program is over, this is just the beginning of my wanderlust adventures.

Experiencing a new culture has been life changing! My mind is now opened to new views and perspectives all thanks to stepping out of my comfort zone and going somewhere that is completely new. I could have easily picked a location closer to home or one where the people spoke English, but I didn’t, and I’m proud of that decision. Challenging myself to be more independent has been difficult, but so worth the growing process. Barcelona was a life changer in more ways than one, and I’ll forever be grateful for that. Adios!
