Point Loma Days 91 – 120.

Clearly the madness of finishing the semester consumed me and made it that I was unable to write for a whole month, or it was that I was beyond lazy and couldn’t muster up the willpower to sign onto my account and spend an afternoon writing. A lot has happened, more than I can remember, but to sum it up it was a whirlwind of excitement, stress, and awe.

I’ve finished the Spring semester of my sophomore year, and it’s flown by faster than I could have imagined. Wasn’t it just January, and didn’t I just move in? Half of my college career is completed, and I’m not quite ready for it to be over. In just a short two years I’ll be graduating, sent out into the real world of bills and jobs rather than homework and nap time. I don’t want college to be over, shoot I didn’t want this semester to be over! I live in a community of amazing people who do amazing things surrounded by an amazing sunset. There’s no atmosphere quite like my beloved Lomaland. It’s a lifestyle I’ve grown to treasure, and I refuse to give it up.

Looking back on this past year, I’m still in shock of the things I was able to accomplish. I studied abroad in Europe! I could never trade the four month experience I had in Barcelona for anything else. Leaving home and going to another part of the universe was scary, but during that time I made new friends and had memories that I will never forget. I got to see the world! I did something most people dream about and some don’t even have the opportunity to do. Most times I have to remind myself that it wasn’t all a dream, and yes I lived in Europe.

Just like dead week and finals and moving out, my sophomore year at PLNU was a whirlwind. It all happened far too fast, but the memories that came from it aren’t going away anytime soon. I don’t know where the time has gone, but it was surely well spent.
