Since it’s currently 70 degrees in sunny San Diego and no where near sweater weather, we just had to create our own perfect autumn day. So with full cars and eager anticipation we headed over to Bates Nut Farm. Just because the temperature still thinks it’s summer doesn’t mean we couldn’t celebrate the coming of fall at a picture perfect pumpkin patch. Escaping the city to a farm filled with leaves changing colors, food booths selling kettle corn and funnel cakes, and tractor hayrides was perfect. It may not feel like autumn, but we sure made do with what we had.
