Goodbye Fall Semester

That’s it. It’s done! Within the blink of an eye I’ve finished up the fall semester of my junior year, and I can hardly believe it. September was fun and exciting, and it reminded me why I love Loma. October was a whirlwind- from my favorite baseball team getting into and winning the World Series to my birthday, it was an all around great month. To me, November didn’t happen. Now it’s December, and almost the end of December at that. I have a year and a half left of college, and I don’t even know where to begin.

It’s a concept so difficult to wrap my head around that I often try to forget about it. I don’t want to think about all the time that has past and what little time there is left, but I like to look back at the memories and think “Ooh remember when we did that? Remember when that happened?” More exciting than looking back is looking forward. For the most part I block out the amount of time I have left and focus on the billions of opportunities I still need to take advantage of. I still want to have a picnic on the alumni lawn or be featured in a PLNU catalog. I want to meet more people and form more relationships. I want to keep learning more about Child Development, and I want to build connections for the future. I couldn’t imagine a world without Point Loma, but for right now I’m glad to be wrapping up the semester. I’m ready to enjoy the most wonderful time of the year!
