Barcelona Day 19.

I can’t describe this day as anything other than perfect. My roommate and I returned to Sitges because we knew how sunny and warm it would be. While taking the train to get there was a little complicated, arriving in Sitges was a breeze. We rented some beach chairs and laid out for hours and hours. Everything was too perfect. Whenever I would get really hot I just jumped right into the warm ocean. The water was just the right temperature, and it was also clear enough that I could see the nail polish on my toes. While I was swimming out there looking back onto the beach and around at all the buildings lining the street, I couldn’t stop but thinking that my life was pretty perfect. I still don’t understand how I’ve reached such an amazing point in my life. I don’t think I’ve ever been happier or more excited to wake up in the morning and see what the world has in store for me. Even though the perfect beach trip had to end, we returned to Barcelona and things just got even more exciting. We met up with a few friends and checked out the festivities happening for la Merce. Over at Placa Espanya there were thousands of people walking around and listening to the free concert going on. Before we walked around the concert, we went up to the very top roof of one of the main buildings. From up there we could see the fireworks going off on one side of the city and the fountain light show happening on Placa Espanya. Everything was absolutely perfect.
