Barcelona Day 24.

Where to start, where to start. How about I start at the extreme struggle it was for me to go to sleep and wake up this morning. So this week’s schedule has been filled with free time and lacked school time. With la Merce closing ceremonies going on, it was a school holiday on Tuesday, also the day where I have the most classes. Therefore, Monday I only had one class, Tuesday I had no classes, Wednesday I had one class, and making myself sleep early for classes on Thursday was a struggle. A majority of the time I feel like I’m never in school- thank you three day weekends! So although I only had about 4 hours of sleep, I somehow managed to stay alive and survive my 8 hour school day. After the full day of class, I thought why not take a nice, slow walk back home from campus. As always I passed by the lovely Sagrada Familia and sat on one of the benches to enjoy the view for a while. With all the planning of what to do while I’m here and stress of finding hotels for my mom, sometimes that’s just what I need- to sit down on a bench and look at the things around me. I love being able to be still for a moment. It reminds me how blessed I am to be here and how amazing my life is at the moment. Reflecting on my life lets me realize that I’m not dreaming, and that everything happening is reality. Adios!
