And the adventure that is known as “Meg Studying Abroad in Barcelona” has begun! Barcelona Day 1 primarily consisted of hours and hours of traveling. First there were 3 hours checking in at SFO, then there was a 10 hour flight to London, followed by 2 hours of trying to get to the right terminal for my connection flight, then the connection flight to Barcelona which took 2 hours, and lastly a very long taxi ride to my residencia. Though it was a very non- Barcelona day, it was still nerve racking because it was my first flight overseas, and I can’t forget to mention that I was all by myself. Nonetheless, everything went pretty smoothly, and on my connecting flight to Barcelona, a very nice woman told me all the things I should visit and see while I’m here. Flying to Barcelona was much easier than I thought it would be, but it was extremely exhausting. So of course, I spent the rest of my day in my room unpacking and resting hoping to get adjusted to this time change. Now that I’ve remember to write a blog post commemorating my official start in Barcelona, it is time for bed. Adios!
