Barcelona Day 26.

I’ve really got to sleep earlier and fix my sleep schedule, because this waking up at 1 pm is not acceptable. Waking up and wasting away half my day can happen when I’m home but not here in Spain! So that being said, I did end up wasting away half my day. When I finally did wake up, I got ready and went on my computer for a while. It wasn’t until my friends came over that I finally had some sort of social interaction. Exciting news, I purchased my Disneyland Paris ticket today!! Other than being here, going to Paris would probably be the thing I’m most excited for. My friends and I already plan to go shopping before Paris, so that we can have our posh in Paris outfit. Between visiting the Eiffel tower and going to Disneyland, Paris is going to be so much fun! After all of that excitement, it was time to eat! Our new try of the day was Kiosko Burger. Oh my bananas! What a delicious and savory burger that was. I’m sorry America, but I think Spain just showed you who’s boss at making burgers. I can’t even describe it, but it was finger lickin good. I don’t remember what I had in my burger, but I’ll be sure to take note the next time I go. Kiosko also had a special sauce that could be used sort of the way we use ketchup back home. Their sauce was sort of like a salsa and ranged in different spices. Trying new places to eat is really exciting! Though I typically reach for something that I’m used to, eating at a different restaurant every week is fun. It let’s me explore and widen the range of things I eat. I ended my night by going back over to the Montjuic fountain to watch their nightly water show. I’m still amazed at the beautiful colors, but nothing will be able to top the La Merce fountain and fireworks show. The lesson I learned of the day was to not wake up late! Even if I’m exhausted and tired, I’ve got to learn how to wake up and spend my day doing something more exciting than sleeping. Hopefully I’ll wake up early tomorrow… Adios!
