Barcelona Day 29.

I’ve somehow managed to survive these 8 hour long class days. Though they’re not my favorite, I do have some pretty interesting classes that keep me occupied. Since over half my day was spent in class, there really isn’t much that I could do today. After class ended, I took my usual slow stroll back home passing La Sagrada Familia. But this time, I had a whole different perspective of it. I stopped right along the gate and looked up at the building for a while. I’m still so amazed at it’s wonder and beauty! It may seem like I didn’t do much today, but it was actually a pretty important day. Today, October 1st, marks the official month of me living in Spain! Wow! I can’t believe that a month has already passed. It doesn’t feel like a month though; it feels like I’ve been here for so much longer. But still, I am constantly reminded about how little time I have here. I know that I won’t be returning home for a couple months, but with all I already have planned and all that I still need to see, I’m afraid I won’t have time for it all. It seems sad, but it’s just another reason for me to return! Looking back on the month I’ve spent in Spain, I’ve had my fair share of lazy days, but I’ve also seen and experienced quite a bit! From going to Sitges and Valencia, to seeing La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, or even sipping on fruit drinks from La Boqueria or eating chocolat con churros every weekend, I’m progressively accomplishing everything on my to do list. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Barcelona is an amazing city waiting to be explored! Now all I have to do is leave the cave and go see it. Adios!
