Dublin Day 2.

Oh Dublin, I’ve fallen in love with a city I’ve only been in for two days.. After not doing much on my first day here, today was filled with activities! My roommate and I woke up bright and early to catch our day tour to the Cliffs of Moher. I wish I hadn’t slept the whole ride over, because our tour guide explained a bunch of facts about all the monuments and cities we drove through. Interesting thing that happened today was when we rushed a girl on our tour bus to the hospital, because she wasn’t feeling well. While that might not sound like something pleasant, it was something that made me remember I’m CPR certified. Though I didn’t rush to her safety, thinking more about it, I realized how my knowledge of CPR could be useful while I’m abroad. Now back to the tour, it was a really long journey, but boy was it worth it! The Cliffs of Moher was a sight like no other! It was an amazing example of how great God’s creations are! After spending a while walking up and down the cliff trail, our tour continued to follow the coast line on our way back home. I don’t think I could possibly describe how beautiful it was, that’s why I highly recommend for people to see it for themselves once in their lifetime! My tour today made for the perfect day! Our tour guide was really fantastic and just the sweetest man who made everything so intriguing. Arriving back in Dublin it was night time once again. Being as exhausted as we were, my roommate and I just wanted to grab a bite to eat then head back to the hotel. With my directioner obsessive thoughts, I looked up the closest Nando’s and indirectly led my roommate there for us to eat. I now understand why Niall loves it so much! The food reminded me of Indian spices cooked into grilled chicken! For dinner I ordered a half chicken, chips aka fries with Peri Peri salt, and spicy rice. It was all so good that I was so angry with myself when I couldn’t finish it! The Nando’s sauces were all so delicious that I’m even contemplating buying a bottle to take with me back home. My day pretty much wrapped up around there. We headed back to our place to shower and head to bed! These little weekend getaways I get to do are so much fun, but it also makes me think about if I’ll ever be able to return to these beautiful places in the future. The world is so big, and I just want to see it all! I’m a world traveler now, and I get those qualities from my parents. When my mom was my age she traveled, just like I’m doing now. And my dad, he’s never afraid of getting lost, because somehow he manages to find his way back. It’s because of them that I get to do what I’m doing right now. So I know you’re reading this and I just want to say thank you. Thank you for raising a girl who’s imagination and goals were always bigger than her reality, because it was that determination to do something greater that made me who I am today. I miss you so much, and I can’t wait to tell you every detail of my adventures! Slán!
