Barcelona Day 33.

It happened, after a month’s worth of resistance, I had my shopping day! Even though it doesn’t make much sense, today I went shopping for Paris, although I’ll definitely be doing tons of shopping in Paris. Primark and Zara are my new best friends, and from them I can get things that make me happy. While I can babble on for a whole post about the articles of clothing I bought, I’d rather not. Along with this blog, I keep a journal with me that I use when I just want to reflect. Because I haven’t been doing much in Barcelona there has been a decrease in my journal entries. Most of the time I’ll write something when I’m experiencing a moment of complete awe and wonder. Reading through some of the things I wrote, I noticed that often times I reflected on how amazing the things around me were. Now why exactly am I explaining my journal writing habits to you? I’ve noticed that my journal is where I can reflect, and my blog is where I describe the events of my day. After having this observation, my goal now is to be able to integrate these two themes. My blog has become something really special to me. What started out as an easy way to keep my parents updated on my adventures has turned into a new hobby. All the photos and words and punctuation I put onto my blog are really important to me. I might not be a professional writer or even take the time to proof read something before I post it, but all the time and effort I’ve put into this blog has made it so worth while. So here’s to making it better! Here’s to improvements and many many more posts. Adios!
